| description? | Michelle has worked on marine conservation issues for around 15 years, in government and, more recently, as a researcher. Her research interests are in the human dimension of conservation management, especially in relation to marine protected areas and fisheries management. Her PhD looked at influences on the social acceptability of two NSW (Australia) marine parks. She is currently employed as a researcher on an FRDC project exploring the social and economic contribution of wild caught commercial fisheries to NSW (Australia) coastal communities. |
