description?Edna Vidler was born on 31st December, 1908, at Newtown, Sydney. Edna was one of ten children and the eldest girl in her family. The family moved to Blacktown when Edna was aged 12. Edna left school at age 15 and went to work as a tailor in Parramatta. She married in 1930, and sadly her husband was killed in an accident when she was pregnant with their fourth child.
