description?Edith Mason was born on the 7th August, 1920, at Dubbo. The family moved to Mt Druitt in April, 1927, after her father built a house for them there. Her father worked for the railway. Edith married in 1941 and the couple lived for a short time in Orange, before returning to live with and care for her husband's mother, who developed glaucoma.
